The more we practice respect, the easier it is to stay fair and to work together to find good solutions in difficult situations. Since disrespect is hurtful to everyone and thus provokes hate and revenge, a valuable key for a peaceful and humane coexistence lies in practizing respect. Implimenting it in daily life is easier if one takes into account that respecting does not mean approving.
